The Danielle Brooks for Universal Standard Tria Collection
This November we're releasing an exclusive three-piece TRIA Collection designed by Tony nominated and Grammy winning actress Danielle Brooks!
The collection is our second collaboration in an on-going TRIA series inviting women known for their amazing personal style to design pieces stemming from the question: “If you could design three pieces that you always wished you had in your closet, but could never find, what would they be?”
We worked closely with Danielle Brooks to design the three pieces in the collection, which reflect both our established downtown, yet classic, aesthetic, and Danielle's strong personal style. This is the first time that Danielle has designed a collection with a fashion brand.
The Orange is the New Black star is an outspoken advocate for plus size women, and consistently pushes for better representation for the 67% in mainstream media. This collaboration was a natural fit as we continue to go against the established conventions of plus size fashion to set a new standard in quality and style.
