We’re happy to help with your return! To be eligible, items must be unworn, unwashed, and have all original hangtags attached. Returns must be initiated within 30 days from the shipping date. You can start your return or exchange here for domestic orders.
Please note, if you purchased an item from our Overstock or Final Few offerings and/or the item is marked as “final sale,” it is not eligible for returns or exchanges.For returns made through Happy Returns bar locations, a $4.50 processing fee applies. For mail-in returns, the fee is $7.50 per order. The processing fee is charged once per order, no matter how many items you’re returning in that shipment. If you decide to return additional items at a later date, a new processing fee will apply. The processing fees will be automatically deducted from your refund.
Orders typically ship within 1-2 business days unless you purchased a Mystery box during our Mystery Box promotion. If your order did not contain pre-order items with a shipping delay, or you ordered a promotional order that has delayed shipping, you'll receive an email confirmation, along with tracking, so you'll know when to expect your order. If you did not receive your shipment confirmation email or have any additional questions about your order, please contact us@universalstandard.net.
Domestic orders:
If you live in the USA, standard shipping is free, and depending on where you live, your order will be delivered within 5-10 business days.
We offer Ground shipping with UPS for $15 (typically 4-5 business days) and expedited shipping within the continental United States for $25. Delivery time frame is 2-4 business days (based on where you live) and can be purchased at checkout.
Certain promotions include a shipping fee which will be noted on our website and during checkout (Denim drive, Sample sale, Free tee).
International orders:
We can ship to many international destinations through our partner, Global-e. Orders shipped outside the United States may be subject to customs, duties, VAT, and/or other clearance fees. Global-e calculates and collects the relevant fees with shipping charges at checkout for all international destinations.
Orders ship when everything is in stock. Orders containing both pre-order and in-stock products will ship together when the pre-order items are in stock.

Carriers sometimes mark packages as delivered a bit early – we know it’s frustrating, but we have faith it’ll show up soon. In most cases, it will arrive within 24-48 hours. If it’s still not with you after 2 business days, simply reach out, and we’ll be happy to assist in tracking it down!
