The Universal Standard $500 Review Giveaway (the "Giveaway") is sponsored by Universal Standard Inc. (the "Sponsor"), with offices located at 20 Jay Street, Suite 930, Brooklyn, NY 11201.

1. Eligibility: The Giveaway is open to only legal residents in the United States and the District of Columbia and must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Void in Alaska, Hawaii, Rhode Island, Puerto Rico, Guam and in all other states, territories or locales where restricted or prohibited, and subject to all federal, state, provincial and local laws. Employees of Sponsor, Sponsor's parent, subsidiaries, affiliated companies, advertising or promotional agencies and the immediate family (defined as parents, spouse, children, siblings, grandparents) of each such employee, and all those with whom the employee are domiciled, are NOT eligible.

Giveaway Period: The Giveaway begins at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time (“EST”) on the first day of each calendar month and ends at 11:59 p.m. EST on the last day of that same month (the “Entry Period”).”  

2. How to Enter the Giveaway: There is NO PURCHASE NECESSARY to participate. A purchase does not increase your chances of winning. To enter the Giveaway, during the Giveaway Period, you must (i) submit a review on our partner platform, Yotpo, or (ii) submit your name, mailing address and email address on the intake form at https://forms.gle/fC8XZgixNtSXiU4T9. 

3. Entries must be complete and received before the end of each respective Giveaway period to be eligible for the Giveaway prize. Each review submitted to Universal Standard will be considered as one (1) entry. A review that contains a photo(s) will be counted as two (2) entries. Use of computer programs and/or other automated devices to enter the Giveaway is prohibited. Normal internet access and usage charges imposed by your online service will apply. Your honest feedback is required. Submitting a positive review or endorsement will not increase your chances of winning. We are dedicated to maintaining a respectful, engaging and thoughtful conversation. Therefore, we reserve the right to approve all reviews  and remove any that we, in our sole discretion, deem to be inappropriate, offensive; contain unconstructive criticism, contain threats or personal attacks of any kind; are defamatory, libelous, aggressive, or violate any law. Giveaway entrants agree to adhere to Universal Standard's Terms and Conditions and are bound by its Privacy Policy.

4. Giveaway Winners: A total of one (1) potential winner will be selected based on a random selection at the conclusion of each month. Winner will be notified via email to the address provided on the winner's entry email. Determinations made by Sponsor are final on all matters relating to the Giveaway. The winner must reply to the winner notification from Sponsor and include the mailing and/or e-mail address of the winner within forty-eight (48) hours. If a potential winner is not reachable at the email address provided and a forwarding email address is not made available or if prize notification is returned as undeliverable, then the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected. The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Giveaway Period.

5. Giveaway Prize: A total of one (1) winner will be selected, of which, each will receive a $500 discount code that can be applied towards a future purchase.  No substitution or transfer of prize permitted except at the sole discretion of Sponsor who reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. All applicable federal, state, provincial and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner.

6. General Rules: In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the person in whose name the identified Universal Standard account was registered. By participating in this Giveaway, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor. Sponsor is not responsible for technical, hardware, software or telephone malfunctions of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate, garbled or delayed electronic communications caused by the user or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Giveaway or by any human error which may occur in the processing of entries in this Giveaway. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual that tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Giveaway; violates the Official Rules; or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Giveaway if it is not capable of running as planned, including, but not limited to, infection by computer virus, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other problems beyond the control of Sponsor and award prizes from among all eligible entries received prior to cancellation. Sponsor and each of its employees, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, and promotion agencies will have no liability or responsibility for any claim arising in connection with participation in this Giveaway or a prize awarded. Winner assumes all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused including computer malfunction, by participation in this Giveaway or by use or redemption of any prize or by any related activities.

7. Publicity: Except where prohibited by law, participation in the Giveaway constitutes participant’s consent to Sponsor’s use of winner’s name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions and/or hometown/state for promotional purposes in any media without further payment or consideration to the participant.

8. Data Protection/Privacy Policy: Information collected by Sponsor in connection with the Giveaway is subject to Sponsor’s privacy policy located at https://www.universalstandard.com/legal/privacy-policy. Each entrant agrees to the collection, processing and storage of entrant’s personal data by Sponsor for purposes of the Giveaway.

9. Limitation of Liability and General Release: By participating, each entrant agrees: (a) to abide by these Official Rules and decisions of Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all respects relating to this Giveaway; (b) to release, discharge and hold harmless Sponsor and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, retailers, and advertising and promotion agencies, and the respective officers, directors, shareholders, employees, agents and representatives of the forgoing (collectively, "Released Parties") from any and all injuries, liability, losses and damages of any kind to persons, including death, or property resulting, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from his/her participation in the Giveaway or any Giveaway-related activity or the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any awarded prize (including any activity related thereto); and (c) to the use of his/her name, voice, performance, photograph/video, entry, social media profile picture, image and/or likeness for programming, advertising, publicity and promotional purposes in any and all media, now or hereafter known, worldwide and on the Internet, and in perpetuity by Sponsor and its designees, without compensation, notification (unless prohibited by law) or additional consents from nominator or any third party and without prior notice, approval or inspection, and to execute specific consent to such use if asked to do so. Released Parties are not responsible for lost, incomplete, damaged, inaccurate, stolen, delayed, misdirected, undelivered, or garbled entries; or for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website, or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed computer, satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or other errors or difficulties of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, computer, network, typographical, printing or otherwise relating to or in connection with the Giveaway, including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of the Giveaway, the processing of entries, the announcement of the prizes, or in any Giveaway-related materials. Released Parties are also not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Giveaway. Released Parties are not responsible for injury or damage to any person's computer related to or resulting from participating in this Giveaway or downloading materials from or use of the website. SPONSOR AND RELEASED PARTIES ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INJURY OR DAMAGE, WHETHER TO YOU OR TO ANY OTHER PERSON OR TO ANY PROPERTY, RELATED TO OR RESULTING FROM YOUR ACCEPTANCE AND/OR USE OF ANY PRIZE. BY PARTICIPATING IN ANY GIVEAWAY OR ACCEPTING ANY PRIZE, YOU EXPRESSLY ASSUME ALL LIABILITY AND RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR PARTICIPATION AND USE OF A PRIZE AND AGREE THAT YOUR PARTICIPATION IS SOLELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

10. Let’s Try To Sort Things Out First: We want to address your concerns without needing a formal legal case. Before filing a claim against Sponsor, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting legal@universalstandard.net. We’ll try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting you via email. If a dispute is not resolved within 90 days of submission of a claim – and only then – you or Sponsor may bring a formal proceeding.

11. Winners List/Rules: For a copy of the Official Rules or for the name of the prize winner, mail a stamped, self-addressed envelope by 1/30/2026 at 11:59 PM PT to: Universal Standard Inc. Attention: $500 Review Giveaway, 20 Jay Street, Suite 930, Brooklyn, NY 11201. Only one request per envelope.
