"This dress is both professional and romantic. It is very comfortable and can be styled in a lot of different ways. I like the little line of peek a boo detailing on the sleeve and hem. It's quite loose and I was worried that it would look bulky, but the proportions are great and the fabric has a good balance of structure and drape. "When I saw this dress online, I was entranced. I pictured my round, size 26 body magically revealing a waist and the long skirt swirling around my legs as I walked. I did not picture myself being my actual 5 feet and 1. 5 inches tall. When the dress arrived, I was afraid of it. It is a formidable expanse of black, and I could only think of choir robes and pastor garb. After looking at it on a hanger for a week, I bit the bullet and tried it on. The fabric is lovely -- silky feeling inside and flowing without clinging on the outside. The sleeves are big but they aren't stiff and don't puff out. The belt loops are in roughly the right place, given my DDD bust. There is enough hip room but not a lot of gathering in the back with the belt loosely cinched. As I expected, it is very, very long. I will cut off roughly 10-12 inches and hem it to the bottom of my knee. I envision a bright touch of color in my shoes and a soft bright belt (maybe a silky scarf). I'm going to look like a duchess!"
