"This was my very first purchase from Universal Standard, and I'm obsessed! These are wonderful jeans - the fit is excellent, the fabric and tailoring are just right. They are in my top three pairs of jeans that I'll wear on repeat. I couldn't believe when I put them on I felt like they were made for me, and also had a slight lived-in softness right from the start. I wanted light colored jeans and these are perfect."

"I love the fabric used for these pants! I sometimes have an issue with US jeans getting super baggy after a long day, but this pair of jeans started supportive for multiple wears. Huge fan, would recommend. I would love some appreciative dark washes, perhaps with yellow stitching like on traditional jeans!"
Cute jeans
"This is my first pair of jeans from US. Overall I'm happy and kept them. They're thick and feel like solid material. I love the straight but not skinny look. Only two negatives: 29in inseam is too short. They're definitely ankle and would be perfect with a couple extra inches in length. There are also a couple weird color spots that I'm assuming are supposed to be distressed. One spot looks like bleach spilled on it? See photo. But it isn't a big enough problem to want to deal with a return. For reference, I'm 5'9 and usually a 14 or 16 in other brands. The 14 fits well in these, 16 was too big."

"I love the way these jeans feel, but I would love a shorter length. At 29" they are a couple of " too long for me, so that the style of the taper at the ankle really disappears. Keeping them! But will be a 'comfort' wear rather than feeling cute."

"These are now my favorite jeans. I would buy them in multiple colors - would like a less distressed fabric, but they are the best fit! Wearing a size 16. They are comfortable in the waist and through the hips and thighs but then they taper down to the ankle and are long enough at last! I love the 29" option. They are the best."
Very itchy and stiff jeans
"I have purchased these before in Washed Tide and I love that version. The Dark Indigo is another story. The jeans are stiff and itchy and uncomfortable. The fit is fine, but something about the Dark Indigo jeans make these really unpleasant to wear, which is a shame because this cut is flattering for my body type. No amount of washing or fabric softener seems to help make the Dark Indigo any more comfortable to wear."
