My forever coat
"So thrilled with this coat. I really feel like you dont find quality like this anywhere anymore its so soft and so warm- absolutely none of the midwestern wind chill hitting me through this bad boy! The hood is nice and deep and also well lined. I have thick curly hair and there is plenty of room for all my hair in the hood and it doesnt get matted or tangled because the lining is so soft. My husband was so impressed he hoping Universal Standard made clothes for men too!"

"I was a little worried because it was final sale. So glad I purchased it. Pros: thickness, warmth, lining (prevents hair snags and provides softness), length (jeeps my hips warm and prevents a draft), and toggles (so much better than buttons). Con: a little tight in the arms but after I wore it, they loosened up a bit. I highly recommend this."
Favorite coat
"I love it. Worth the cost, which is very reasonable considering the quality. I expect this coat will last me for many years. The high percentage of wool and the coats inner lining keep me from feeling the cold weather even on windy winter days. Temps have dropped to about 15 degrees and I've felt just fine going out while wearing this coat. It's also a heavier coat than I've own before but that could be due to the percent of wool. And I like the weight of the coat. Feels cozy for the winter. As for sizing, I am 5' 2"" and 130lb. I am typically between sizes 4 in other brands and I went with 3x (2-4). The fit of the coat is perfect. I can comfortably wear a thick sweater underneath or just a t shirt and the fit is great either way."

"I got the plaid duffle coat for myself and another for my sister for Christmas. Everything about this coat was thoughtfully considered. The fabric is thick and heavy and warm, perfect for a duffle. The colors are rich and beautiful. The pockets are deep and between each toggle is a snap to keep the sides closed and streamline. I've been a customer of US and appreciate their quality but this coat is beyond!"
