We recommend measuring yourself for the best fit. Measure around your bust at the fullest point, your waist at the narrowest part, and your hips at the fullest part. Our sample size is an 18, and we engineer every single size from there to ensure the perfect fit for all of US. Our sizes range from 00-40 (4XS to 4XL in Universal Standard sizing).

We offer free shipping and fast returns. If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return or exchange items through our Returns Portal at universalstandard.happyreturns.com. Exchanges are free for domestic customers. Please note that Final Sale items are not eligible for returns.

"Just put these on. Long time Universal Standard customer but first review. Denim is nice and thick but also stretchy. Front seam detail looks sharp. My menopausal body is in a strange state - hips closer to a 14 while waist is closer to a 20. I got in a 16 and am able to button comfortably. I'm 5 Ft 11 - 28 inch inseam is fine but do wish there was a 29 inch option. If there was a Universal Standard fairy grandmother she'd whip up a pair of these in Khaki with brown contrast stitching."

Love the style

"I could not be happier to see loose fitting jeans back in the mix. I really like these pants even though I had to exchange for a smaller size. I do wish it was clearer in the fabric details what the weight of the denim is, especially when a product has multiple colors. These are definitely heavier denim (11 oz apparently) while I have two pairs of another product that are markedly different weights but have nothing in the details or fabric info letting me know this. I would totally change my buying strategy if I know what might be cold weather appropriate vs lighter hot weather wear."
