We recommend measuring yourself for the best fit. Measure around your bust at the fullest point, your waist at the narrowest part, and your hips at the fullest part. Compare your measurements to our size chart to find your perfect fit. Our sizes range from 00-40 (4XS to 4XL). If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing up. What is Universal Sizing?

We thought conventional sizing seemed skewed, so we shifted the spotlight to reflect the real bell curve. If the average woman wears a size 18, then that should be called a Medium, right? Our sample size is an 18, and we engineer every single size from there to ensure the perfect fit for all of US. Our sizes range from 00-40 (4XS to 4XL in Universal Standard sizing).

What is your return and exchange policy?

We offer free shipping and fast returns. If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return or exchange items through our Returns Portal at universalstandard.happyreturns.com. Exchanges are free for domestic customers. Please note that Final Sale items are not eligible for returns.

Fit Liberty is our revolutionary shopping program that allows you to buy for the size you are right now. Any piece in the Fit Liberty collection is eligible for a one-year size exchange (beyond our standard return policy) should you go up or down in size within a year. What materials does Universal Standard use?

We use premium, carefully selected fabrics for comfort and durability. Each product page displays the specific fabric composition and care instructions under the Fabric & Care section. My hunt for the perfect ponte pant

"I have a certain Bback colored ponte pant that I wear almost every day (own several pairs) that stopped being produced around 2019. I've been buying replacements on ebay for years, and the well has finally run dry. leading me to this review. I like these pants. They are fashionable, comfortable. I like the seams on front and the one on the back is an added plus. While the zippers are fashionable, they kind of hurt when I cross my legs while wearing them. I may have gotten too big a size, but they fit a little loose on me, but not so loose that they look bad. Pretty good underwear seam camouflage. Here's where these especially shine *Pockets*. Even if you can see what's in it, it's nice to have when you need to stash your phone, etc. My number one complaint however is after just 1 or 2 wears the fabric feels like it's already begun pilling between the thighs. If these can't keep up after just a week I'm nervous for them to become "the pant" Solid 8. 5/10 for me"

The quality has declined

"The pants fit well, but the fabric and construction is a far cry from what it used to be. This fabric is part polyester, thinner, and pills. The top pic of navy pants is the old fabric, black pants on bottom is the new fabric. The pintuck is coming undone after only wearing these 3 times. Not worth the price."

"These pants are cute and comfy but after just one wear the material is starting to pill. I was really hoping for long lasting basic black pants, but clearly these won't be that. Really disappointed with the quality."

A bit too snug - sizing is iff

"Love the style of the pants but I am a consistent 22 in almost all brands and these were too tight in the waist to be comfortable. The elastic band is very stiff, not enough give when stretched. I could wear these for a few hours but never all day. Sadly this was a final sale so my loss. I will donate them."

LIGHT WEIGHT

"Length is nice, at 6 feet it brushes my ankle. These are indeed very comfortable. However, for the price the material feels like a lightweight lounge wear. I was expecting more structure. I may keep for around the house. The material is nearly see thru in the buttock area."

Universal Standard is not actually for shorter people

"It is not a "Universal Standard" to not provide dress pants with a short inseam. I tried to see if I could make these pants work as the only options for pants are a "regular" 26-inch inseam or a "short" inseam which are all cropped basic leggings at 23 inches. I am SO very disappointed that a brand that claims to be so size inclusive is really for people at or above 5. 5. . . if you are going to offer such a range of sizes offer them for shorter people as well. These pants looked ridiculous on me at 5. 1 and I have to pay to return them as there are ZERO options for short people that are professional attire appropriate."
