We recommend measuring yourself for the best fit. Measure around your bust at the fullest point, your waist at the narrowest part, and your hips at the fullest part. Compare your measurements to our size chart to find your perfect fit. Our sizes range from 00-40 (4XS to 4XL). If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing up. What is Universal Sizing?

We thought conventional sizing seemed skewed, so we shifted the spotlight to reflect the real bell curve. If the average woman wears a size 18, then that should be called a Medium, right? Our sample size is an 18, and we engineer every single size from there to ensure the perfect fit for all of US. Our sizes range from 00-40 (4XS to 4XL in Universal Standard sizing).

What is your return and exchange policy?

We offer free shipping and fast returns. If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return or exchange items through our Returns Portal at universalstandard.happyreturns.com. Exchanges are free for domestic customers. Please note that Final Sale items are not eligible for returns.

Fit Liberty is our revolutionary shopping program that allows you to buy for the size you are right now. Any piece in the Fit Liberty collection is eligible for a one-year size exchange (beyond our standard return policy) should you go up or down in size within a year. What materials does Universal Standard use?

We use premium, carefully selected fabrics for comfort and durability. Each product page displays the specific fabric composition and care instructions under the Fabric & Care section. Our materials are chosen to maintain their quality wash after wash. Common fabrics include our signature Moro Ponte, premium cotton blends, and luxurious liquid jersey.

Shockingly flattering

"I am honestly shocked that these jeans are flattering. As a bigger person, I’ve learned over the years that oversized items just make me look sloppy but I’ve noticed that wide legs are popular now and when these went on sale I decided to give them a try. I’m between sizes and I sized down based on reviews. They fit perfectly, look great, and are surprisingly flattering and comfortable. The front pockets are cute but probably not useful for carrying anything. I wish these were made in a darker color. I got the darkest color, the naval wash, and I’d call it a medium denim. They’re lighter in person than in the photos. I would definitely repurchase if they came in a darker color. I’m 5’9” and the inseam was perfect for flats"

Good stretch that doesn't bag

"While the stretch on these is a little more than I usually like in my jeans, I was happily surprised to find that it doesn't mean they get baggy by the end of the day like some other brands do. I have a chronic medical condition that causes unpredictable bloating and so jeans are something I don't often wear because they can be very unforgiving in fit for that, but so far so good with this pair."

"I loved these pants! The color is very vibrant, amd the cut is very unique but comfortable. I like the pocket placement snd the look. Sometimes i worry about a wider leg pant on me because of my body shape (wider hips ), thighs, and butt), but this really emphasized what need to be emphasized."

"I love these jeans. They’re so comfortable. I love the look and style - they’re able to be dressed up or down. They’re soft and stretchy. They work as a pull on as well as a regular pant (buttons, zipper). I got my regular US size and the fit is great. The two square pockets on the front are fine - they don’t hold my phone but that’s not their fault."

You can’t go wrong!

"These jeans fit so well and look so nice! The rear waistband has elastic, but you can’t tell when you put them on (but definitely helps if you are a person who experiences that waistband gap). These jeans are unbelievably comfortable- I wore them 3 days in a row, one of them on a plane as I traveled. No knee bagging either. If you are in between sizes, definitely size down to your smaller size."

"Holy smokes. I cannot believe how effing wonderful these jeans are. I can sit, stand, bend, kneel, crawl around with my daughter, nurse my daughter, and NAP in these jeans, they're so comfortable.
