We recommend measuring yourself for the best fit. Measure around your bust at the fullest point, your waist at the narrowest part, and your hips at the fullest part. Compare your measurements to our size chart to find your perfect fit. Our sizes range from 00-40 (4XS to 4XL). If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing up. What is Universal Sizing?

We thought conventional sizing seemed skewed, so we shifted the spotlight to reflect the real bell curve. If the average woman wears a size 18, then that should be called a Medium, right? Our sample size is an 18, and we engineer every single size from there to ensure the perfect fit for all of US. Our sizes range from 00-40 (4XS to 4XL in Universal Standard sizing).

What is your return and exchange policy?

We offer free shipping and fast returns. If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return or exchange items through our Returns Portal at universalstandard.happyreturns.com. Exchanges are free for domestic customers. Please note that Final Sale items are not eligible for returns.

What materials does Universal Standard use?

We use premium, carefully selected fabrics for comfort and durability. Each product page displays the specific fabric composition and care instructions under the Fabric & Care section. Our materials are chosen to maintain their quality wash after wash. Common fabrics include our signature Moro Ponte, premium cotton blends, and luxurious liquid jersey.

"I love them so much. They are a generous, trouser cut, but still very tailored looking. I love the weight of the linen. At first I wasn’t so sure since it is has a firmer feel, but it is very comfortable, breathable, and wears extremely well. I now have these in two colors, and have even bought two used pairs on eBay in discontinued colors because I love them so much. I wish the coastal linen blazer fit me because I would love to have the suit, especially in brulee, which is rich and stunning."

Love these Linen pants

"I struggled to find the right size in these pants, as my usual size was swimming on me. However, once I landed on the correct size, it's been a love affair. I love how they drape due to the seaming. They are super comfortable, but can be easily made to look dressy. If there had been other colors available in my size, I'd have snapped them up."

I couldn't wait. . .

"to order these pants and I'm so glad I did. Don't despair about fastening all of the buttons because you won't have to, only the top one. The rest are decorative and the hidden zipper does the rest. The material is soft, not see-thru and wrinkling seemed minimal. Should be a decent weight to wear now in areas that have warmer temperatures and even more comfortable when the temperature soars. I bought the black color."

Stylish AF

"I bought these pants with the white linen blazer to wear as a backup at my wedding reception and these are so stylish! I usually wear a S or M, but I ordered the L size. M would have been fine, but the L allows me to play with proportions. I usually like a shorter inseam, and this was longer than I normally like, but hit perfectly just below my ankle. Please please bring this back! It's such a beautiful and versatile piece (with foundation cami/shirt, oversized sweater tucked in. . . LOVE IT"

Some design flaws

"The fabric has a lovely drape and the cut of these pants is very nice. This is a linen blend so it is not nearly as light as linen. And what really throws me off is the snap at the waist band. It's not trustworthy when you are moving from sitting to standing. There are decorative buttons so why not use a button as a sturdier closure option. The pants are also partially lined with an unbreathable fabric which gets these pants farther away from being a true linen pant. For the price point these really should be a bit more elevated with design and functionality touches that justify the cost."
