"I was pleasantly surprised when I received this dress. The pattern and the construction (style) of the dress are very flattering. I received many compliments the day I wore it to work. I would recommend this dress to anyone wondering if they would like it, you will."
"Every once in a while, a dress comes along that's so perfect, it feels as if it was made for you—this is one of those dresses for me. The drape and softness are lovely, and the Conifer color is my favorite shade of deep green. It's polished enough for the office or date night, but wouldn't be out of place at the beach or a backyard party, either. It's worth noting that I was expecting a rounded neckline like the one on the models in the photos, but I actually received a V-neck style—however, I ended up really liking this because it's perfect for some of my favorite necklaces. Grab this one while you can; it's worth it!"
"I'll start by saying the fabric is fantastic. Unfortunately, there were two big misses that to me really reduced the quality of the dress. First, the facing on the neckline is not tacked down except on the shoulders so it really just wants to unroll and flip out, especially at the center of the neckline in both the front and back. This is something that could have been fixed with some easy top stitching. Second, given the relaxed nature of the dress, I was expecting pockets, especially as the skirt is constructed with two side seams that make it really easy to add them. No pockets means I have to carry a bag and that's just fussy, especially since putting anything on my shoulder with an untacked neckline means the neck facing just becomes more of a problem."
"The fabric was buttery soft with great drape. The quality was far beyond normal jersey fabric. It felt very rich. I loved the tie at the back of the neck. The nipped in waist was very flattering. I tried the V neck and round neck and found I preferred the V."

"I love the Universal Standard brand and about 80% of my wardrobe are pieces that I have brought over the years. This dress, though I like the print, did not fit me, AT ALL. There is piece of cloth in the front of the dress that just flops out. The drape is terrible on me and unless I wear a minimizing bra, will never wear comfortably. I am so disappointed but of my many, many purchases, this one was a dud."

"I have mixed feelings about the Havana Dress. The fabric is comfortable, but the structure of the dress makes it fall oddly on my body - bunches up too much at the waist and back, and droops down at my chest. I wish it did not have that bit of lining/extra material at the front and back of the neckline. It will not stay flat, no matter how much I iron it down. I bought it in two sizes (XS and S; I normally wear a S) and run into these issues with both!"
