We recommend measuring yourself for the best fit. Measure around your bust at the fullest point, your waist at the narrowest part, and your hips at the fullest part. Compare your measurements to our size chart to find your perfect fit. Our sizes range from 00-40 (4XS to 4XL). If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing up. What is Universal Sizing?

We thought conventional sizing seemed skewed, so we shifted the spotlight to reflect the real bell curve. If the average woman wears a size 18, then that should be called a Medium, right? Our sample size is an 18, and we engineer every single size from there to ensure the perfect fit for all of US. Our sizes range from 00-40 (4XS to 4XL in Universal Standard sizing).

What is your return and exchange policy?

We offer free shipping and fast returns. If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return or exchange items through our Returns Portal at universalstandard.happyreturns.com. Exchanges are free for domestic customers. Please note that Final Sale items are not eligible for returns.

Fit Liberty is our revolutionary shopping program that allows you to buy for the size you are right now. Any piece in the Fit Liberty collection is eligible for a one-year size exchange (beyond our standard return policy) should you go up or down in size within a year. What materials does Universal Standard use?

We use premium, carefully selected fabrics for comfort and durability. Each product page displays the specific fabric composition and care instructions under the Fabric & Care section. Our materials are chosen to maintain their quality wash after wash. Common fabrics include our signature Moro Ponte, premium cotton blends, and luxurious liquid jersey.

"It’s a beautiful print but the quality is not great. The coat is unlined and there are many loose threads. The material is stretchy and feels cheap. It also has a strong dye smell, like the fabric wasn’t washed after printing. I’ve been a US customer for a long time, but this may bey last purchase. The quality is fast fashion now."

pretty but not worth it

"i was so excited for this coat but so disappointed when it arrived. the fabric is thin and wrinkly, and it seems poorly constructed -- lots of dangling threads from the button holes. It's unlined and looks kinda cheap when unbuttoned. Not worth the very high price."

cheap fabric, disappointing

"I was so excited about this when I ordered it, but so disappointed when it arrived. i ordered the After Dark print with the roses. The fabric is really thin, to the point that you can see light coming through the lighter colored flowers a bit if you hold it up to a window. the construction also feels pretty cheap; lots of stray threads coming off of button holes. and It's not lined, so it doesn't look great when it's open. Feels more like H&M than US, and not worth almost 300 bucks."
