Fit on both plus and straight size to deliver a true barrel leg look, they are cut with an easy fit around the hip, and encased elastic at the back waistband for extra comfort and movement.

"I have these pants in a couple colors and they are really great for work events. They are comfy and breathe well, which is so important in a room full of people at a conference. I find they read more like straight leg than barrel, which works for me, but if you're in love with the barrel shape this might not be the perfect pair for you. The pink is bright and looks stellar with the pink lace top and some simple black pumps. Fit is TTS"
"This has a great silhouette - not too curved and hits just right. I needed to size down, like many others did. The color is gorgeous and I received plenty of compliments. The linen, though, like linen can, scratches slightly, so be aware of that. I wasn't sure about these, but I'm pleasantly surprised. The quality is fantastic."
"Overall, these are a great summer pant. The linen does not feel like the other two linen styles I have from US, more structured and slightly plastic feel but I didn't mind it. My issue and why I won't be keeping is the fit. In most of their pants I wear their small (14-16) and found these far too baggy and bulky in the waist and crotch area. I also recently bought the denim Lou Barrel and ordered a xs as they recommended sizing down and those were on the tighter side. I know different materials but it was disappointing. So while overall a great pant, just not for me. I got these final sale so can't exchange but I fear the smaller size would be too tight and I want that slouchy, but not baggy fit. I am pear shaped on the bottom and this style just did not work for me"
"I LOVE these pants. Açaí is a gorgeous color. The cut is incredibly flattering as someone with a smaller waist and wide hips. They look polished and smart but wear very comfortably. They are so lightweight and stay comfortable on a hot day. I had to exchange my original order for a smaller size and the process was so simple. The new size is perfect."

"Beautiful linen pant. I love the style of the Barrel Leg pant as it is so comfortable! I had bought this same pant in black and it has some substance to it so as not to be too wrinkly as the day goes on. This ecru seems a tad lighter and perfect for hot summer days. Again, doesn’t seem to wrinkle immediately (as some linen does) and looks good throughout the day. I launder in cold water and air dry. They do need a quick press with the steam iron. Oh, and pockets! I have just “discovered” Universal Standard and am a fan of these linen pants for comfort and a nice summer look."
