Boxy but chic and comfortable
"When I purchased, I was torn between this coat and another one. I was going to go for a loud color either way, and I love this golden color, so zero complaints there. I have broad shoulders and large upper arms, and this coat fits comfortably; but this speaks, generally, to the more boxy style of the coat. The nice thing about this style is that I have lots of room to move without being exposed to cold. And the ability to pop up the color for an extra neck buffer against the cold is great. But the downside is that I have zero shape in this coat. As someone with wide shoulders and hips but an hourglass shape, it's something I'm trying to figure out if I can modify. The coat is also short enough that I don't feel my movement is encumbered at all. But it's not long enough to protect my clothes from salt or slush, as you can tell in the picture. Is it chic? Yes. Is it comfortable? Yes. Is it stylish? I would say yes. But I would not say that it is acceptable in formal/fancier events. Overall, I'm really happy with this coat. I think the only two wishes I have, that would have put me over the top, are some kind of waist cinch or belt and a quilted feel/look in the lining."
Stylish coat but constant loose threads on back
"So I love the style of this coat but after a few months (purchased fall 2024) threads in the back of the coat kept unraveling and I had to cut them to make the coat look more presentable. It's a shame as again very cute and stylish coat! Also I recommend to size 1 size down"
Not worth it
"Hated the fit of the jacket. Was too oversized and just did not have a comfy feel to it. The material was also too light but I guess makes sense for the minor amount of wool. So disappointed."
