"I have never worn pants from Standard Universal. I certainly understand that there are nor returns for sale items - but I needed a smaller size(size 4 down to a size 2). You refused to allow me to exchange them for a size that I could wear. You have lost me and my potential business forever."
"I have worn my Seine Skinny Ponte jeans four times in the month that I've had them (once a week) and have washed them once according to instructions and air dried. I was slightly concerned when I noticed pilling in the crotch area after my first wear. Now, I am even more disappointed as I found there is an approximately 2 inch rip along the seam at the top of the right pocket and also pilling on the legs of the pants. I paid $98 for this pair of pants that claim to be ""pilling resistant"" yet are damaged from light wear in less than a month. I expected better craftsmanship from a company that claims ""Our garments last wear after wear, wash after wash, season after season. It's simply our standard. "" I have had pairs of $20 pants from Old Navy last much much longer than these. In the effort to be more sustainable in my clothing I made the decision to invest in timeless pieces that would last long, but I've clearly made a big mistake with purchasing from US. I won't be buying from US again."
"I love these pants. They're very comfortable and flattering. I definitely would not call them ""jeans"" in the sense that they're not denim fabric. My only complaint is they're piling a bit between the legs but I expect that from ponte fabric."
"I bought these pants hoping they would be Universal Standard's new take on black jeans. Unfortunately, upon receiving the product, these pants neither look nor feel like jeans in any way - they're just black ponte pants. Still, though, I gave Universal Standard the benefit of the doubt and emailed asking if these were somehow called jeans and listed under denim in error. All I got back was an AI agent response:"As for your question about the Seine Skinny Ponte Jeans, it's essential to note that while these pants have the word "jeans" in their name, they are designed as ponte pants and may have a different feel compared to traditional denim. "I have never been able to wear the denim Seine jeans, because they are uncomfortably snug in the calf for me. So I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered these ponte Seine pants. And they turned out to be great! I mean really great. They are as comfortable as leggings, but much more practical and flattering: they skim the body instead of clinging, and they have wonderful roomy pockets. Also the inseam length is perfect. I'm so pleased with them."
