We recommend measuring yourself for the best fit. Measure around your bust at the fullest point, your waist at the narrowest part, and your hips at the fullest part. Compare your measurements to our size chart to find your perfect fit. Our sizes range from 00-40 (4XS to 4XL). If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing up. What is Universal Sizing?

We thought conventional sizing seemed skewed, so we shifted the spotlight to reflect the real bell curve. If the average woman wears a size 18, then that should be called a Medium, right? Our sample size is an 18, and we engineer every single size from there to ensure the perfect fit for all of US. Our sizes range from 00-40 (4XS to 4XL in Universal Standard sizing).

What is your return and exchange policy?

We offer free shipping and fast returns. If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return or exchange items through our Returns Portal at universalstandard.happyreturns.com. Exchanges are free for domestic customers. Please note that Final Sale items are not eligible for returns.

Fit Liberty is our revolutionary shopping program that allows you to buy for the size you are right now. Any piece in the Fit Liberty collection is eligible for a one-year size exchange (beyond our standard return policy) should you go up or down in size within a year. What materials does Universal Standard use?

We use premium, carefully selected fabrics for comfort and durability. Each product page displays the specific fabric composition and care instructions under the Fabric & Care section. Our materials are chosen to maintain their quality wash after wash. Common fabrics include our signature Moro Ponte, premium cotton blends, and luxurious liquid jersey.

"I also ordered the matching top and the set is wonderful. The knit is great quality and feels and looks really spendy. I have worn both pieces separately and they play well with other things, but I really love them together. Bonus, they pack well - no wrinkles! I'm going back for the set in black! Like Butter

"I am in love with this fabric! I ordered the skirt and the matching shirt and I could honestly live in this set. I immediately ordered the set in black and would love it if they had more colors. This is great in hot weather but I can easily see myself wearing some boots and a sweater with it once it gets a bit cooler. It’s comfy and has good pockets!

"This skirt is just as soft as the other Liquid Jersey items, but still somehow manages not to be clingy. It has volume without being overwhelming. It looks nice. I’m going to wear it to work. My only complaint is that the drawstring is absurdly long. So long that after I tied it, with a fairly generous bow, the ends still hung down to mid-shin. I ended up quickly finger crocheting them shorter so I wouldn’t catch them on something and end up untying my skirt. I’ll probably end up cutting them when I have a chance."

"I like the full skirt, elastic waist, and length, for a maxi fit. I thought it ran a bit big. A similar skirt but about 5 to 6 inches shorter would also be nice. It was not flattering on me with the same color/pattern top, but I do like it with a black top. Pockets are great. I don't care for the drawstring. I would have liked a wider elastic style waistband with no drawstring. Fabric is soft."
