What is Universal Sizing?

We thought conventional sizing seemed skewed, so we shifted the spotlight to reflect the real bell curve. If the average woman wears a size 18, then that should be called a Medium, right? Our sample size is an 18, and we engineer every single size from there to ensure the perfect fit for all of US. Our sizes range from 00-40 (4XS to 4XL in Universal Standard sizing).

Exchanges are free for domestic customers. Please note that Final Sale items are not eligible for returns.

Comfortable and Well-Made, Just Not Quite for Me

"These pants are very comfortable, soft, and well-made. I really like the simple, classic style and the solid black color. I especially love the double-line detail down the sides—it’s subtle but gives the pants a little something extra without being flashy. The waist fits perfectly and sits nicely higher on the waist, which I really appreciate. The pockets are also a nice feature, and the fabric feels substantial and durable, like they’ll hold up well over time. The only fit issue I noticed is that there is a little bit of pulling and definition through the front. It’s not terrible, but it was noticeable to me. I’m returning them only because I have to be selective about what I spend money on, and at this price I’d rather keep something I absolutely love. The quality is definitely there; they just weren’t quite the perfect fit for me. Overall, a really nice pair of pants with great quality, a comfortable higher-rise waist, and thoughtful details. They just weren’t quite right for me."

"I love these pants. I am glad I took a chance on them. The fabric is fantastic - breathable and comfortable. They are a bit more fitted than I am usually fond of for lounge wear, but they stretch and the waist is not too loose so they work. Would totally buy another pair (on sale, budgets are tight I am watching pennies these days)."

Wanted to love them, but can't

"I really wanted to love these pants. I'll begin on a positive note by saying that the fabric is very good and so is the workmanship. Also the pockets are nice and deep. I bought my correct size (checked against the product measurements first), but I found that the waist elastic is too loose and if I put my phone in my pocket (iPhone 15 Pro Max in a thin case), the elastic around my waist is not snug enough to keep the pants in place and they sag a little. I find this very annoying. Also, the rise is so long that the pants inseam measurement is a little misleading, and they look and feel about 2 or 3 inches too long. I'm not very tall but a 26. 5" inseam works for me in jeans, and even a 28" inseam is perfect for me in the Lou linen pants, so it was a surprise that these pants turned out to be so long on me. They have kind of a funky-cool hemline, so I will ruin that if I just cut them off and hem them straight across. I'll probably try putting them in a hot dryer to see if that helps at all."
